Everest Pharma Mini School Handball tournament (boys and girls) will begin tomorrow (Friday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the city.
Everest Pharmaceutical Limited’s managing director Zakir Hossain will formally open the four-day meet as the chief guest, said a press release.
In this regards, a press conference was held today (Thursday) at handball stadium to provide all the details of the meet.
Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) general secretary Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Everest Pharmaceutical Limited’s managing director Zakir Hossain, Everest Pharmaceutical Limited’s director and tournament committee’s chairman Mohammad Mojnu Mollah, BHF’s member and tournament committee’s secretary Lajul Karim Kostori, were, among others, present in the press conference.
A total of 28 school teams — 16 of boys’ and 12 of girls’ – will take part in the meet, sponsored by Everest Pharmaceutical Limited and organized by BHF The participating boys school teams – Sunnydale, Saint Gregory High School & College, Narida Govt.
High School, Model Academy, Khaled Haider Memorial Academy, South Bridge School, Wills Little Flowers School & College, Motijheel Govt. Boys High School, Dhanmondi Tutorial, BAF Shaheen College, Ideal School & College, Kadomtota Purbo Basabo School & College, South Point School & College, Ideal School and College, Mugda, Cambrian School & College and Nirjhor Cantonment Public School and College.
Girls school teams – Sunnydale, Viqarunnisa Noon School & College, Shaheed Bir Uttam Lieutenant Anwar Girls College, South Bridge School, Sher Bangla Girls High School, Wills Little Flowers School & College, BAF Shaheen School & College, Ideal School and College, Motijheel, Ideal School & College Banasree, Kadomtota Purbo Basabo School and College, Cambrian School and College & Nirjhor Cantonment Public School and College.
