Apu and Shakib’s Divorce Date Announced!

Apu and Shakib’s tale of being reunited and eventually separating has been a topic of much discussion among fans for the majority of 2017. The last we heard from them regarding their life together was when Shakib sent a divorce letter to Apu back at November 22 last year. Apu had not officially stated a reply to the letter since then, but now there’s new development afoot. After about three months the once-iconic couple has finally come to an agreement, and has set 22 February to be the day in which their divorce is officially registered. Regarding the well-being of their son Abraham, Shakib stated that there will be no effort spared in taking care of him. “Abraham will always receive the support he needs in life. His needs will never go unnoticed. But Apu and I have lost respect for each other, so I personally want our relationship to end,” stated Shakib. Apu shared a similar statement, saying that Shakib has the right to exert his own choices. “He did what he thought was best, he has the right to do so,” she added.
