Father, son held with ganja in Kaliganj

Police in a drive arrested a man and his son with three kgs of ganja from kaliganj Upazila of the district this morning.

The detained were identified as Shahabul Islam and his son Ashikul Islam. They were the residents in Darsana in Chuadanga district.

Officer-in-Charge of Kaliganj Thana Mahabubur Rahman said, on information, police held the duo in Arpara area in Kaliganj Upazila. Searching their body, they found the ganja, he added.

A case was filed with Kaliganj Thana under Narcotics Control Act. (BSS)
