RAB arrests one accused in Tajul murder case

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an accused in Tajul Islam murder case from Bahubal upazila of the district last night.

The arrested was Maruf Mia, 37, son of Abdul Khalek, a resident of Dakshin Daulatpur village of the upazila.

On a tip-off, a team of the elite force from Shayestaganj camp conducted a raid in Karangi Bridge area around 10:30 pm and arrested Maruf, said RAB-9 Media Officer Additional Superintendent of Police KM Shahidul Islam Sohag.

Later, Maruf was handed over to Bahubal Thana police. (BSS)
