Perform duties impartially to gain public trust: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam today called upon the new police personnel to perform their professional duties in a neutral manner to win public trust.

“Work neutrally to gain public trust. If police are trusted by the people through their performance, they will get more cooperation from the masses in maintaining the law and order,” he said.

He was speaking as the chief guest at the closing ceremony of the orientation course for Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) of the 43rd BCS (Police) batch at the Police Headquarters here. (BSS)
