One held with 492 bottles of phensidyl in C’nawabganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 492 bottles of phensidyl from Shibganj upazila of the district last night.

The arrested was Habibur Rahman, 20, a resident of Biapalpara under Paba upazila in Rajshahi district.

On a tip-off, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp conducted a raid in Fatakpur area of the upazila around 8.50 pm and arrested Habibur with the phensidyl, a RAB official said.

Later the elite force handed him over to the police of Shibganj Police Station. (BSS)
