Europe’s main stock markets diverged at the start of trading on Wednesday following a largely lacklustre showing in Asia and on Wall Street.
London’s benchmark FTSE 100 index grew 0.2 percent to 7,692.53 points.
In the eurozone, the Paris CAC 40 rose 0.1 percent to 7,645.20 points but Frankfurt’s DAX index shed 0.2 percent to 17,007.39. (BSS/AFP)
