Light tremor jolts parts of country

A 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck different parts of the country including the capital around 12:49pm today.

The epicenter of the tremor was located at Tangail, 59 km North-North West from BMD Seismic Centre in city’s Agargaon, said a Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) release.

However, no casualty was reported. (BSS)
