Home minister visits Ramkot Banashram in Cox’s Bazar

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today visited Ramkot Banashram, a noted Buddhist monastery located in the forest on the east of the Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar highway in Ramu upazila in Cox’s Bazar district.

Ramkot Banashram’s ‘Pradhyan Vantey’ welcomed the minister on his arrival, a press release said here.

Later, the minister visited the historical Buddhist monastery and interacted with the devotees, religious students and visitors who were present.

After visiting Ramkot Banashram, he inspected Jagatjyoti Shishu Sadan located next to the Banashram, the release added.

Kamal also provided financial support to the Shishu Sadan from his own fund. (BSS)
