One miscreant arrested with arms, ammunitions in Khulna

A joint forces team has arrested an alleged miscreant along with an arms and ammunitions conducting a drive at Dakop upazila in the district.

Comprising Police and Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG) personnel, the team of joint forces conducted a drive in Shaharabat area under Kamarkhola Union of Dakop upazila yesterday evening, said a BCG press release.

The force arrested an alleged miscreant identifying him as Shah Alam Sheikh, 54, while he was trying to commit crimes in the area.

A one shooter pipe gun, two rounds of bullets and two cartridges were also recovered from his possession.

The arrestee was handed over to the Dakop Police Station with the seized arms and ammunitions, the press release said. (BSS)
