Islami Andolan Nayebe Ameer and Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim today demanded proper evaluation of Qawmi Madrasa certificates so that students of the madrasa could get jobs in public and private sectors.
“Steps have to be taken to ensure job opportunities for the students passed from the country’s Qawmi Madrasa… they should be provided with jobs especially in the Islamic Foundation Bangladesh, Model Mosques, Army, RAB, Police and others public institutions,” he said.
Speaking at the seminar in the capital, the Pir of Charmonai demanded the interim government so that the Qawmi Madrasa students could get the chance to participate in the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) exams.
Referring to the recent-students-people movement, he said the students had ousted the fascist government through Anti-discrimination student movement. “We hoped the interim government will be able to reform the country’s every sector ensuring rights of people,” he added.
National Ulama Mashaikh Aimma Parishad organized the seminar at the Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh auditorium in the city.
Chaired by President of National Ulama Mashaikh Aimma Parishad Nurul Huda Foyezi, Mufti Mizanur Rahman Sayed, Maulana Abdul Awal, Niamatullah Faridi, Ataullah Amin, Mustakunnabi Kasemi,Hasan Jamil and Forid Uddin Al Mobarak spoke on the occasion, among others.
Later, National Ulama Mashaikh Aimma Parishad has announced a month-long programme from September 21 across the country to press home their demand. They will organize national rally on October last week in Dhaka to this end. (BSS)
