Palak lays foundation stone of ‘Joy Set Centre’ at Nondigram in Bogura

State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak laid the foundation stone of ‘Joy Set Centre’ at the Upazila Parishad Complex Bhaban here today.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the government has a plan of setting up ‘Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centre’ here.

The state minister also said ‘Sheikh Russel Digital Lab’ will be set up at every school and college in Nondigram and Kahaloo upazilas in the district while two more ‘School of Smart Future’ will also be set up here.

Within the next six months, Palak said, all government educational, health and administrative institutions will be brought under high-speed internet connectivity.

At the function, a cheque for Taka 50,000 was handed over to each of 15 ‘Smart Women Entrepreneurs’.

Ragebul Ahsan Ripu, MP, Bogura Deputy Commissioner (DC) Saiful Islam, Nondigram Upazila Parishad Chairman Rezaul Karim Zinnah, Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shifa Nusrat and Paurasabha Mayor Qamrul Hasan Siddique Juwel were present at the event, among others. (BSS)
