33 Eden College BCL leaders, activists acquitted in two cases

Eden Mohila College Chhatra League president Tamanna Jasmin Riva, general secretary Rajia Sultana and 31 other leader and activists were acquitted in two separate cases filed over an internal dispute with Lalbagh Thana, today morning.

As the police presented their final report and none of the parties filed a naraji petition, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mahbub Ahmed passed the order.

On September 25 last year, a clash occurred between two separate groups of Eden College Chhatra League leaders and activists. At least 10 were injured during the incident.

On September 28, the conflicting parties filed two separate cases with Lalbagh Thana accusing each other. (BSS)
