Mild cold wave sweeps over northern, central parts of country

Mild cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the districts of Jashore, Kushtia, Chuadanga, Tangail, Madaripur and Kishoreganj and it may continue.

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, according to weather forecast for next 24hours begining from 9am today.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from midnight to tomorrow morning and it may continue till noon at some places. Air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may disrupt due to thick fog.

Country’s maximum temperature on Sunday was recorded 27.6 degree Celsius at Teknaf and minimum temperature today was recorded 08.1 degree Celsius jointly at Badalgachi and Dinajpur.

Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.

Night temperature may fall by 1-2 degrees Celsius and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
