18 RMP people get awards for laudable performance

A total of 18 members of different ranks and positions of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) were given awards as recognition for good performance in Rajshahi metropolis.

They were accorded the honor in a monthly crime review meeting held at RMP headquarters here today (Monday) with Commissioner Biplob Bijoy Talukder in the chair.

In the review meeting, various issues related to law and order situation, expediting the community and bit policing activities, carrying out of arrest warrant and progress of the important cases were discussed elaborately.

Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Biplob Bijoy Talukder urged his subordinate colleagues to discharge their respective duties with utmost sincerity and honesty to attain trust and confidence of the peace loving public in general.

He said the honour will encourage and inspire other RMP members to do better performance.

Additional Commissioners Bijoy Basak and Muhammad Hemayet and Deputy Commissioner Saifuddin Shaheen also addressed the meeting. (BSS)
