BKSP go goal feast in women’s hockey

Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP) registered their second successive win in the BRACK Bank Development Cup Women’s Hockey, thrashing Cumilla district by 16-0 goals held at Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in the capital today.

BKSP earlier crushed Kishorganj district by 15-0 goals in their tournament opening match held on Tuesday.

Earlier in the day’s first match, Jhenaidah district also register their second victory in the competition beating Kishorganj district by 3-2 goals.

Jhenaidah earlier thrashed Cumilla district by 15-0 goals in their tournament-opening match.

Organised by Bangladesh Hockey Federation, a total of eleven teams – ten district teams and Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP)– split into two groups are participating in the meet.

The participating teams:

Group A – Dinajpur district, Jessore district, Chattogram district, Patuakhali district and Rajshahi district.

Group B – BKSP, Jhenaidah district, Thakurgaon district, Rangpur district, Cumilla district and Kishorganj district. (BSS)
