2 motorcyclists killed on Chittagong Elevated Expressway

Two motorcyclists were killed in a fatal road accident on the elevated expressway in the port city in the early hours of today.

The deceased were identified as Md Moktar, 28, and Md Rubel, 36, of Sadarghat area of the city.

The accident occurred when their motorcycle hit a lamp post on Chattogram Elevated Expressway, leaving the duo dead on the spot, said EPZ Thana officer-in-charge Mohammad Akhtaruzzaman.

The bodies of the victims were sent to Chattogram Medical College Hospital for autopsy, he added. (BSS)
