Palak for standing by PM’s good governance

State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak today called for standing beside all the development activities and good governance 7under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“I urge the people to exercise their franchises for the ‘Boat’ symbol in the upcoming 12th National elections to stand by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s development activities and her good governance in the country,” he said.

The state minister said these in a programme to distribute Taka 1, 56,000 education scholarships, bicycles to 15 students and educational materials to 150 students at Palak’s own residence at Singra Upazila in Natore.

The state minister also distributed cheques for Tk 7, 50,000 to 17 institutions and 99 individuals from the voluntary fund.

With Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md Al Imran in the chair, the programme was attended, among others, by President of Upazila unit of Awami League (AL) Sheikh Md Ohidur Rahman, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Aminur Rahman and Upazila Education Officer Ali Ashraf. (BSS)
