Flood victims to be rehabilitated: Farooq-e-Azam

Adviser to the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Affairs Freedom Fighter Farooq-e-Azam today said flood-affected people will be rehabilitated.

“Many people of Noakhali have been affected by the flood… flood victims
will be rehabilitated,” he told a discussion on ‘Dealing with the
flood situation and coordination of relief activities’ at Noakhali
Circuit House here last night as the chief guest.

“Bangladesh is a potential country and it will move forward with the unison of its young force. They showed us the way by uniting the entire nation while the country has been witnessing terrible floods in its recent history. Not only the young force, but also other institutions and voluntary organisations have come forward to help the flood victims across the country,” he added.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the district Dewan Mahbubur Rahman presided over the discussion.

Commissioner (General) Sharmin Ara, Additional Superintendent of Police
