Bangladesh Football Supporters’ Forum demand resignation of Salahuddin-Kiron

The Bangladesh Football Supporters’ Forum today
(Monday) demanded resignation of resignation of Bangladesh Football
Federation (BFF) president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin and BFF women’s wing
chairperson Mahfuza Akter Kiron.

The members of Bangladesh Football Supporters’ Forum gathered at BFF house at
Arambagh chanting slogan with a single point demand for the resignation of
Salahuddin-Kiron bringing allegation against them of irregularities and
corruption.

They also have been put an ultimate to comply with the demand and if their
demand is not resolved within the next seven days, they will take action
according to the prevailing law of the country.

The press release read that the country’s football is not in the state of
good shape that once upon a time used to be and it has lost its glory
completely. Even the responsible people of BFF also admit it, but they always
avoid talking about their failures.

In this current state of football in the country, the present committee led
by, BFF president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin, failed to prove his competence.
All football fans of the country demand from their soul to bring back of the
football’s golden era. For this reason, there is a need for proper reforms in
BFF and an organizationally competent people should be in charge of country’s
football regulatory body through transparent and acceptable election.

Earlier, last week, a fan group of BFF namely, Bangladesh Football Ultras,
organised a programme-March, gathered at the BFF headquarter demanding the
immediate resignation of Salahuddin and Kiron. Following Football Ultras’s
protest, the present and former eve footballers also demanded the resignation
of Salahuddin-Kiron. (BSS)
