BNP Joint Secretary General Habib Un Nabi Khan Sohel today urged BNP leaders and activists to help the Interim government for maintaining law and order situation in the country.
“We will stand by minorities for their safety and security as all people will live peacefully in the country,” he made the comments while speaking at his party leaders and activists at BNP Naogaon District office.
He said, “The BNP is fighting for 16 years to oust the Awami League government, but we could not do so. The anti-discrimination student movement forced the Awami League government to step down.”
He hoped the incumbent interim government will be able to ensure peaceful atmosphere in the society and they will hold a participatory election at the quickest time.
Convener of the Naogaon Zilla BNP Abu Bakar Siddik Nannu, former President of Naogaon Zilla BNP Md. Nazmul Haque Sony, Joint convener of Zila BNP Baizid Hossain Palash and various leaders and activists of the party, among others, were present. (BSS)
