Principal Secy. for keeping essential commodity market stable

 Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary M Tofazzel Hossain Miah today directed the authorities concerned to take appropriate measures to ensure smooth supply of essential commodities to keep the market stable on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.

He also asked the officials concerned to take preparations so the journey of homebound people on road, rail and waterways will become safe and smooth without any sufferings.

The directives came from a meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Office with Principal Secretary M Tofazzel Hossain Miah in the chair.

The Principal Secretary said that not only Bangladesh but also the whole world has been suffering due to the price hike of essentials.

He, however, asked the concerned authorities to ensure supply of edible oil, ginger, onion, garlic and other essential commodities in the market.

In this regard, he also gave directive to operate mobile court to ensure it.

Tofazzel Hossain Miah also directed the field level officials to take proper measures to remove the garbage of sacrificial animals quickly.

Besides, proper monitoring instructions were also given to the local administration regarding the price of daily essential commodities in the market.
